We are a traditional cider maker producing top quality ciders on our west country farm.

I have been making cider for many years. I have fond memories of helping my father and grandfather at apple harvesting time - from when I was young I used to climb the trees and shake the branches for the fruit to fall and then be gathered. We progressed to ladders and sticks, which we still use to this day, although most apple harvesting is mechanised now.

The whole cider making process is something that has always fascinated me. I love the autumnal time of year it all begins, with the cool, misty mornings and the rich smell of ripened apples, the hard work that goes in to pulping and pressing, the tasting and blending to get the different varieties 'just right', all the way through to the finished ciders - also something I am more than a little partial too! After the ciders pass one more quality control test they are packaged, labelled and ready for consumption by your good selves .

From producing cider purely for ourselves, family, friends and locals, after much persuasion we have decided to produce cider on a more commercial basis, which is where we have got to today.

" We grows our own apples, we scrats our own apples,

We presses our own apples and we drinks our own cider"

Quote from Farmer Percy, my grandfather.
